Living up to our purpose of caring for life, the Foundation has provided essential supplies, such as medicines, dry ration, food packets, sanitizers and masks. The Foundation is working with government, local administration and NGO’s on the ground near Cipla manufacturing sites in India.

Cipla Foundation South Africa also distributed food parcels to AJUGA-Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDs).

Additionally, the Foundation has partnered with UNICEF to distribute learning material on a daily basis that can assist parents with stimulating home schooling activities.

The teaching staff at Ajuga are also being supported through food vouchers to help them sustain during this period.

Successful meeting with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri B.S. Yediyurappa Cipla has donated Rs 50 lakhs towards mitigation of COVID19 to Karnataka State Disaster Relief Fund as part of CSR From Cipla, representation was made by Mr Daniel Boppuri, Plant Head and Mr. Alagonda Kullolli, Manager, Corporate Affairs.
