Mumbai, October 14, 2021: Cipla Limited (BSE: 500087; NSE: CIPLA EQ; and hereafter referred to as "Cipla") has emerged as the only Indian pharma company to secure a spot in the Forbes “World’s Best Employers 2021” list among the top global employers across 58 countries.
Cipla also features as the sole Indian player being featured as a part of the “Drugs and Biotechnology” category at the 18 th position among 31 pharma and biotech companies from across the world.
The “World’s Best Employers 2021” list recognises and applauds the work done by companies to make their organisation a welcoming and professional workplace for employees to be a part of. The participants surveyed rated the companies on aspects such as image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality and social responsibility. The 750 companies that received the highest total scores made the final list.

The list has been put together in cooperation with Statista, a leading market research company wherein The World’s Best Employers have been chosen based on globally administered independent surveys covering a vast sample of roughly 150,000 workers from across the globe. All the surveys were anonymous, allowing participants to openly share their opinions. Each employee has been asked which firm or institution they work for. Where appropriate, subsidiaries of larger entities have been combined for evaluation.
